As an agency, we are committed to delivering greater social impact through cross-sector partnerships, creative solutions based on research and impact fromperformance measured productions.  Representing diverse backgrounds and experience levels, the team is uniformly committed to improving society through social change and serving its clients while remaining rooted in Flying Bridges core values. Kimberly Ann Adams
Executive Producer and Managing Partner

Kimberly is the Executive Producer and Managing Partner of Flying Bridges. Her background in finance, public health and government gives her the experience and vision to assess the current economic, political and social climate to produce short and long term projects and campaigns and to work with private and public sector clients to establish production outcomes.

She has worked with multinational corporations, government agencies, academic institutions and nonprofits including: Chevron, Shell, Bayer, Hewlett PackardGoldman Sachs, UNICEF, UNAIDS, The Executive Office of Environmental Affairs MA, UCAL Berkeley’s Center for Entrepreneurship in International Health and Development (CEIHD), Beijing University School of Public Health, The Jane Goodall Institute, CARE, ECPAT, and The American Chamber of Commerce. 

Prior to founding Flying Bridges, Kimberly advised corporations on integrating their CSR interests into internal policies and programs and sat on the UN Theme Group for HIV/AIDS. The multicultural expertise at Flying Bridges stems from Kimberly’s years consulting NGOs, corporations and governments on program evaluation in Bolivia, China, The Republic of Georgia, Hong Kong, Ireland, The United States and France. 

Kimberly has published research on the relationship between government policies and program outcomes, was a visiting lecturer at Beijing University’s School of Public Health, advised the American Chamber of Commerce CSR committee on their annual giving fund and has been a panelist on HIV/AIDS and the workplace and business initiatives to fight against human trafficking.

She earned her BS in Business Management majoring in Finance and Marketing and obtained her MPH at Columbia University. She is currently researching a book on advertising in public spaces, including the internet, and its affects on young children.

Renaud Gense
Managing Director

Our innovative investment opportunities are a result of Renaud’s focus on detail and design. As Managing Director he is charged with designing and executing productions that will meet established outcomes. Renaud builds a multi-stakeholder dimension into existing venues such as film festivals and golf tournaments and creates unique Flying Bridges productions.

Generating additional business and development value through the formation of alliances he builds strategic partnerships among media, corporate and social sector clients by focusing on core competencies and their internal social investment objectives. He provides corporate clients opportunities to make a measurable difference that is relevant to their business; media representatives with issue driven events with high audience appeal; and NGO executives with expanded reach and influence.

Prior to joining Flying Bridges Renaud executed press events for high profile clients including Jaguar, Mercedes and Roland Garros. His earlier experience as manager in logistical event planning drives the design and execution of each production. 

Filipe Martins Antunes
Senior Director Strategic Development

Filipe believes that you can only call it an impact if it makes a difference. Overseeing strategic development and measurement planning he begins each project by examining the issue with a “wide angle lens”. His team synthesizes the research in order to build a compelling set of recommendations that will inform the innovative strategies needed to produce measurable social impact and investment returns.

Filipe’s experience in monitoring and evaluation at PädQUIS, a scientific research institute, sharpened his skills in developing strategies for measuring the impact of socially-relevant productions, engage client stakeholders to identify measurement needs, develop key performance indicators and construct plans for implementing measurement.

Managing the operations for all short and long term project deliverables and monitoring process measurements, Filipe maximizes each production’s social and economic value and ensures our productions achieve the intended impact.

Deborah Newman
Senior Director Communications & Media

Deborah specializes in delivering “the right message to the right people.” Her philosophy is that an informed public is a prerequisite to educated debate and decision-making on social issues; change begins with raising individual and collective consciousness.

As co-founder of Mainebytes, a successful web design firm, Deborah joins Flying Bridges as an expert in developing communication strategies that build relationships between the sender (the client) and the receiver (target audience)..

Working with the Flying Bridges’ project staff and clients, she establishes the context and desired effects to design simple messages tailored for the most effective and efficient use of communications platforms. Using traditional and new media, she delivers a passive and interactive user experience to stimulate conversation, debate and action.

Deborah instructs private and public clients on developing corporate and social communications using new media. Her expertise in this medium optimizes outreach, promotion and awareness of all Flying Bridges productions.

Alaine Bateman
Senior Director Youth Involvement

High quality education to create change is at the core of Alaine’s work. She produces the youth involvement component of a Flying Bridges production. Serving as a springboard for community and school based programs, she introduces and strengthens youth awareness and education through strategic partnerships with active youth participation at the center.

Alaine’s collaborative team develops age appropriate messages and projects to be integrated into existing educational initiatives. She works with teachers, parent advocacy organizations, youth groups, school boards, ministers of education, and community center and nonprofit directors.

Alaine provides opportunities and strategies for the public and private sector clients to initiate youth education and participation programs.

Prior to joining Flying Bridges, Alaine was a teacher at Caedmon School and sat on the Parent and Teacher Advisory Board. Her graduate studies focus on early childhood development and evaluation of pedagogy for grade school children.

Her earlier work as a project manager at TBWA/Chiat/ Day, a top advertising agency, earned her the experience in delivering a creative, engaging and relevant product that meets the client’s needs and reaches the target audience.

Nadine Beisler

Nadine is passionate about the need for increased efficiency and effectiveness to stimulate social impact. The executive team and advisory board select our social investment initiative which dedicates resources toward an internally produced long term campaign.

For the years 2011 – 2014 we will be producing the See, Hear, Speak Campaign to fight against child exploitation.

Nadine will guide, facilitate, and coordinate all phases of the Campaign.

Nadine’s background in program management and education gives her the people, business, technical and communication skills required to effectively manage the diverse breadth and scope of campaign activities and goal setting required for measured success. Using her comprehensive knowledge of European laws protecting Children’s Rights and working experience with private, social and governmental organizations dedicated to protecting these rights, Nadine is currently building a strong team for the Campaign to be launched in 2012 in Paris, France.
